[Healeys] Non- Healey -- mystery Armstrong shocks

I’ve unearthed a pair of Armstrong lever shocks, smaller than others I’m familiar with, #s 2788 N/S & O/S.  No listing in Peter Caldwell’s catalog, no results from on-line search.  Anyone have an idea of what these might have come from?
