I got curious and delved into--OK, I did a quick internet search--this
mysterious 'Araldite' stuff and found, among other interesting tidbits:

/Araldite was used beginning in 1940 in the production of the De
Havilland Mosquito aircraft.

/So, certainly it's suitable for our LBCs.  Unfortunately, however, it's
made in some place called the 'UK,' making it difficult if not
impossible to find on this side of The Pond (esp. without egregious
shipping fees).

ps.  Also, of note:

"In 1983, British advertising agency FCO Univas set up a visual stunt
presentation of the strength of Araldite adhesive by gluing a yellow
Ford Cortina <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Cortina> to a billboard
on Cromwell Road, London, with the tagline "It also sticks handles to
teapots".^[10] <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Araldite#cite_note-10>
Later, to demonstrate more of its strength, a red Cortina was placed on
top of the yellow Cortina, with the tagline "The tension mounts".
Finally, the car was removed from the billboard, leaving a hole on the
billboard and a tagline "How did we pull it off?". "
