[Healeys] headrest

Hello Skip,

 

Following up on the suggestion from the list to use MGB seats - this is
something I would thoroughly recommend. I installed two of these seats in
our "Around the World 2000" 1962 BT7 - see pictures.

 

When they are properly padded and covered, the seats are extremely
comfortable and gave us no problems in this very long rally back in 2000,
plus the Route 50 experience.

 

There is enough room for them to be adjusted, albeit slightly. Make sure
that you install the MGB runners as well.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions on buying parts at a discount.   

 

I've another question: Has anyone installed headrests in the Healey 3000?.
I've a BJ8, my wife would like headrests.    Is there a kit suitable for
adding headrests to Healey seats?.... I'm tempted by this arrangement:
