Thanks to all who replied. Since my trays and mounting brackets were rusted away, I'm looking for information on how the trays are installed before the fitment of batteries.

Regards,

Charlie

Charlie-here is my original factory setup on my 1953 100 (twin to Michael's) Antique Battery no longer makes the 17H style...it also became Jim's Battery and not sure they are still in business. Interstate still lists one, but you can also use the 19H (a bit higher-fits VW & MGB) as long as your battery cover is in good condition, not interfering and covered in armacord The rods are brass and threaded 1/4" BSF thru the trays into the welded frame fittings (yours may be gone if eaten at an earlier time) Regards, Hank, healeyhelper.com

Would someone please send me pictures, illustrations or tell me where I can find them for installing two 6 volt batteries in a BN1. I have the trays and top rims, but I don't know how they are attached to the chassis.

Also, a source for the batteries that will fit in the trays.

Thanks.

Charlie
