[Healeys] Shims

     Now that the Denis Welch tappets have finally arrived and been installed the pushrods and rocker assembly are next.  The four cylinder short block and head were machined by my late restorer friend.  I have no idea what was cut off the two mating surfaces of the block and head.  Do I need to shim the rocker pedestals? If so, how do I figure how much they should be shimmed?Mike MacLean
