[Healeys] Strange Crankshaft Damper

I wish I could help. But I must say that I’m lost in admiration…to get the damper off with that little screwdriver…fantastic!

A member our Healey club has started a restoration of a BJ8 with an unknown history. There wasn’t a serial number or any identify marks on the engine but the engine was painted blue and has a strange crankshaft damper. See attached picture. Does anyone recognize this crankshaft damper? Was it an aftermarket option back in the day? Did it come from a Westminster or ????
