[Healeys] Front Apron Doesn't Fit

The group has raised some good questions. Is it the bumper or the apron or
some repair? The bumper hasn't been rechromed and there are no signs of any
previous repair. I will have to dig through my records to find where I got
the apron as it was some time ago.
I measured the curvature of the bumper using a string line between the two
outside bolt holes and measuring the distance from the string to the two
inner bolts holes. See attached picture. Both measure 1-9/16" which tells
me the curve in the bumper is uniform. The same measurement on the apron is
1-3/16" which is the 3/8" to 7/16" gap I am seeing.

If someone out there has a front bumper available could you take the same
measurement I did. Then I would know if my bumper is a unicorn or the apron
is a fault. I don't want to buy another apron only to find the same issue.

Thanks... Harold
