[Healeys] electric AC compressor

When I lived in Miami in the early 1960's I owned a black BT7. I had an AC
system fabricated and it functioned, though not effectively.
Because the ambient heat load was terrific and there was no way of
insulating the roof without losing the ability to fold it down, and because
do-it-yourself window tinting was not at the time very good
the AC's ability to lower the cabin temperature was negligible and the
result was not worth the effort.

Best--Michael Oritt
