Carl, I checked the BJ8 Registry and came up with this:
 
HBJ8L/34874 Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  Original engine for this car now installed in your BN4.  The engine serial number is 29K/RU/H9461.

Checked the number on the block and came up with:
29K1 RV. Close as I could figure out with my bifocals.Checked the block information i the Moss parts booklet and it doesn't seem to correspond with any of them.
Make any sense?
