[Healeys] Axle tube measurement required

Mike, I think I understand the measurement you want – see the photo to confirm.   I get the odd size of 1.366”.  I cleaned the inside of the tube so I think that is a good measurement.  That diameter only continues for about 1.5” up the tube,  then the tube diameter increases; I can just feel the change with my finger.

Does anyone have the rear half shafts out of their hypoid (5 stud) rear axle and could get me a measurement of the inside diameter of the tube upon which the wheel bearing is mounted?

I am modifying a tool for the hub nut.
