Yes, very well worth it!

I guess my response was based on my experience with a 2- light BJ-8. It
sounds like you are describing the 4- light...

Either way, when I replaced all the bulbs in the turn signal and stop light
circuits (including the dash indicators) I did need the electronic flasher
