[Healeys] Left front frnder

I know that this is a long shot but, who knows.
The 100 that I'm currently restoring has what is essentially an NOS BN1 left front fender on it. Unfortunately the car is a BN2 !!
Before I start cutting up the BN1 fender to increase the height of the wheel arch I was wondering if anyone has the same problem with a BN1 in that they require a left front fender but have a BN2 type.
As I  said, a long shot!!
