IIRC, weren't here instances of some BN2s delivered from the factory with a BN1 fender on one side and a BN2 fender on the other?  I suppose it could also be a damaged BN2 fender being replaced after an accident with a BN1 one that was kept in spares.

The 100 that I'm currently restoring has what is essentially an NOS BN1 left front fender on it. Unfortunately the car is a BN2 !!
Before I start cutting up the BN1 fender to increase the height of the wheel arch I was wondering if anyone has the same problem with a BN1 in that they require a left front fender but have a BN2 type.
As I  said, a long shot!!
