[Healeys] Backfiring thru the carbs

At what throttle position does the backfiring occur? One possible cause is
the timing is too far advanced. Are you able to check the timing at the
point of backfire? Has any work to the valve train been done prior to the
backfiring? I would suggest resetting all of the valve clearances.
