[Healeys] big Healey new steering box

Hi All,
Since we are discussing Denis Welch parts, I wanted to share my experience.
I purchased a set of DW synchro rings for my transmission, but after 500
miles, it became impossible to shift from 4th to 3rd gear.
Upon disassembly, I discovered the DW synchros had a manufacturing defect.
I have since replaced them with Bastuck synchros, and the gearbox has been
performing well.
