Bob:

The Japanese cars are almost all Right Hand Drive, but the cars imported 
into Japan,  such as French, German, Italian, and American, are usually Left 
Hand Drive.

Strangely, many British cars in Japan are Left Hand Drive.  Most of the 
Bentleys and Rolls Royce appear to be Left Hand Drive.
