Excellent idea. We can have best sector, best photo, and perhaps we
should go one step further and have everyone take a picture of their car
with them in it.  Then we could vote on best car, too.

Can anyone thing of any other bests?

Actually, I was thinking that we should have a competition of the best
photo taken while on the tour.  JONATTERS could submit photos that they
take along the tour and at the end of the loop, votes could be submitted
for the best pic...in various categories.  I suspect that, given the
fastidiousness nature of some of the NATTERS, we might have some
remarkable shots.......thoughts?

I don't have photos I've taken, but if you go to my sector page, and
then to my sector homepage, I have the entire route turn-by-turn and
day-by-day with links to all the sites along the route -- in fact, most
of the linked sites have many more pictures than the ones I linked to. 

Take a gander, but I have a feeling the final decision will be left to
the drivers. 

Perhaps we should set up a voting system for after the tour. People who
only take one sector would probably vote for that one, so it would
reward a combination of best sector and most participation.

I like historical places, too. Some of the East Coast sectors have to be
interesting. Having grown up in Pennsylvania, my wife and kids and I did
a battlefield vacation one year. Harpers Ferry, Antietam, Gettysburg for
the Civil War and the Cowpens for the Revolutionary War. That was one of
the most moving experiences of my life, and I learned a bunch more than
when I went there on field trips. But it was moving even when I was a
12-year-old.

Wow, Jerry.

"Bucolic"? "Riot of Flowers"? I think you may have me beat on the
description. Hopefully there will be a few hardy souls who do both
sectors to see if you beat me on the scenery. While I'd like to do the
whole tour, there are a few sectors that I really wish I had the time to
do, and the PCH is one of them.
