MessageHi, Bob...hope that you are doing well...I am OK in San =
Diego...but many others have not been so fortunate.
I have a ton of questions!...firstly, how much time will we have the =
tour in our sector?...I see the dinner on May 5th at the Petersen =
Museum...what's the timing leaving Lake Havasu?...why is the tour then =
going to Brawley?...I've talked with our members and the Salton Sea is =
definitely not a possibility...very desolate and not the 'sea' that some =
would envision...
Does San Diego lay out the route from Lake Havasu?...where is the =
handoff?...
I ran a check on Mapquest from Lake Havasu...its 264 miles to downtown =
San Diego which is longer than the daily recommendation for =
driving...but you need to get across some desert areas.
What is a 21C?...
I'd like at least an overnight in San Diego...then we could plan perhaps =
a lunch on the way to LA at Jag headquarters in Irvine.
I have a committee of about 9 stalwart souls so far...no indication yet =
of who would like to join the tour and where (I haven't asked)...do you =
want 'helpers' registered on the website?...or just tour =
participants?...or both?
