No fee to JONAT Central would also be a good idea, if it were possible. It would simplify things tremendously for the organisers. But then, there has to be some way of covering the minor but inevitable costs, unless we keep this registration strictly by internet, and offer no identifying marks on the cars.

  Hi Jerry

There definitely seems to be a lot of feedback that the Sectors don't need to collect a fee. I like the idea of $0 fee, but only because I'm a cheap bugger when it comes down to it. Does anyone object to this (i.e. also no fee from JONAT central)?

I think we should have something that identifies participant's cars. What yet has not been decided, but there have been a lot of good ideas (which we now have to finalize and follow through on). Your idea about an SC relay of goods is a good one that I think we need to expand on in the near future.

No full tour participants I know of ... but once I get this friggin' webpage form together hopefully we'll have a better idea.

OK, I can go with this approach. No Sector fees, no sector specific
  goodies.

Is there anything at all that will identify a driver as a Tour Participant,
like a bonnet or door placard, number or anything? Magnetic or
  pressure sensitive static cling film?

Will these then be paid for by the one central fee, and then mailed
to the various segments -- or carried by one of the participants?

If we had a Tour Courier or Tour Courier Relay team, we can have a simple
system to duistribute placards, hats, whatever else. I suppose each SC could
ferry things from one end to another...

Bob, anyone -- going on the whole tour? Anyone know of a full tour
  participant?

  Jerry
