[JONAT] Registration Test Page

Bob,

I'm a bit confused. Which form are we using? I just looked in
<http://jonat.org/admin/users.cfm?sort=11&psort=0> and there is a lot of
stuff there already. I don't care as long as we are dealing with the
same database.

Would it be an easy matter to start a list or forum for the users? I
think that would be a good idea. It would allow them to chat with each
other and build some camaraderie before the trip even starts. It might
entice a few fence sitters to join.

I also think that whatever we decide to use for registration, we should
send an e-mail out to all of the current signees and have them update
their information and include information like what sectors they will be
doing in the list. Perhaps a second page with names, state of origin,
and a grid with x-es in each sector would be the easiest to visualize.
That second page (which wouldn't include contact information) could be
accessed by all users to verify that they've registered and see who else
is going and where.

Mark - AZ

I'd like some more guinea pigs, 'er, I mean volunteers, to test
the registration form. If a few more of you could go to

http://users.accesscomm.ca/engl/RegistrationForm/RegistrationForm.htm
and plunk in some data, it would be appreciated.

Bob, Mark, and myself have sent inputs from the form so
far ... you can see the results at:

http://users.accesscomm.ca/engl/RegistrationForm/Registrations.pdf

I would propose NOT to publish this list on the web, but it
should be sent out to the individual SC's via direct e-mail (concern
over privacy here) ... likely on a weekly basis. My thought would be
that once the registration is received, and e-mail would go out
indicating fees and where to send them to (copied to the home SC), once
payment is received it would be noted in the file. Sounds complicated
... anyone have a better idea (and we also have to get a registrar
signed up pretty quick-any ideas there?)
