[JONAT] Registration Test Page

Hi Mark

The form you input into several months ago will evolve into the expanded one
that we are testing now. It just asks for more information. And yes, we
will be running just one database. Consider yourself a beta-tester for the
new form.

There is already an on-forum for the users similar to this one, called
[JONAT-chat]. All the SC's are signed up, but it has been pretty quiet
lately. We'll have to get that one revved up pretty quick I think.

Greg (and I guess everybody else too) would it be a breach of privacy to
allow registered participants to see who is running in a specific sector
(first and last names only)? And Greg, is this easily doable?

Bob,

I'm a bit confused. Which form are we using? I just looked in
<http://jonat.org/admin/users.cfm?sort=11&psort=0> and there is a lot of
stuff there already. I don't care as long as we are dealing with the
same database.

Would it be an easy matter to start a list or forum for the users? I
think that would be a good idea. It would allow them to chat with each
other and build some camaraderie before the trip even starts. It might
entice a few fence sitters to join.

I also think that whatever we decide to use for registration, we should
send an e-mail out to all of the current signees and have them update
their information and include information like what sectors they will be
doing in the list. Perhaps a second page with names, state of origin,
and a grid with x-es in each sector would be the easiest to visualize.
That second page (which wouldn't include contact information) could be
accessed by all users to verify that they've registered and see who else
is going and where.
