"1) the SC receives the packages by courier: please tell me that these will
NOT come to Canada with Customs Duty owing!" - good news, the packages will
be coming out of Canada so no problems there. BUT, perhaps someone in the
US can answer this question from US Customs perspective. Any expert
importers in the US out there?

"How many packages will be sent?" One per registrant starting in your
sector, plus some extras for on-site registrations. The SC's will either
forward monies collected from on-site registrations to the JONAT registrar,
return the on-site registrations not used, or pass the unused registrations
to the following SC during the tour.

"2) the SC distributes these packages ONLY to those people who has
specifically registered in HIS sector." - not quite - the SC distributes
these packages ONLY to those people who have specifically registered to
start in HIS sector. For example - someone from the Okanagan wants to start
in Vancouver - you (Vancouver) would be sent his registration package to
give to him or her, and not Barry (Okanagan).

"3) if anyone wants to register during the sector, the SC collects the $40
CDN + $7 and forwards it to?" - The SC collects $40+$27+7 on site in Canada
in Canadian funds($30+$20+$6 on site in the US in US funds). Funds get
forwarded to the registrar.

"4) local Jaguar club members will not have to register to drive in the
sector, but by the same token will not receive any registration materials" -
No. Jaguar club members should be encouraged to register. We've kept the
cost pretty low - get the cheap buggers to fork over the $cdn47 ($us36) and
get the package - sheesh! Most of the money goes to charity (provided we
get enough registered), and they get a limited edition once-in-a-lifetime
12"x6" full colour plate to stick on their wall ;^) We cannot prevent them
from following along if they want, however - something I would encourage you
to consider would be discounted rates for Sector events for Tour
registrants.

received.
Bob: to clarify regarding the fees and registration packages:
    1) the SC receives the packages by courier: please tell me that these
will NOT come to Canada with Customs Duty owing! How many packages will be
sent?
    2) the SC distributes these packages ONLY to those people who has
specifically registered in HIS sector.
    3) if anyone wants to register during the sector, the SC collects the
$40 CDN + $7 and forwards it to?
    4) local Jaguar club members will not have to register to drive in the
sector, but by the same token will not receive any registration materials

Can you comment on the above?
                            Gregory

One of the group noted that he had not been receiving e-mails for a few
days, so I'm just sending this out as a test.

Let me know if you don't get this e-mail (just kidding! - let me know if
this email arrives OK). The SC's and ASC's should get two copies of this
email, and the participants should get one.
