route map and you'll get an idea of approximate driving times (they all look
OK).

I wanted to run the route by you for the San Diego sector...Lou Lepis of the
San Diego Jaguar Club worked with me to lay this out.
May 3
Hand off in Lake Havasu City. 95 South to 62 West. 62 West to Twenty-Nine
Palms.
Recommended lunch stop: Twenty-Nine Palms Inn.
Leave Twenty-Nine Palms on 62 West to I-10 West. 23 miles on the Interstate
to Banning. Pick up 79 South in Banning. Stay on 79 South to 74 West.
Very short time on 74 West to R3 South. R3 South to 79 West into Temecula,
California, a wine region.
Tentative 'after hours' (5-7 PM) wine and cheese reception at one of the
wineries?
Overnight in Temecula.
May 4
Short drive of 1 hour to San Diego for an 'out of the car' day.
Possible arrangements for a Harbor Cruise at a discount. Numerous
attractions for day activities in San Diego.
Overnight lodging recommended in Old Town.
May 5
1.5 drive to Jaguar North American Headquarters in Irvine for lunch and
tour.
Hand-off to LA sector after lunch.
