Bob: correct: the handover to the Okanagan sector is in Vancouver, after the Van Dusen meet. You were not in left field regarding the hotel; our original thought was the Abercorn, but for a number of reasons have selected the Lonsdale Quay Hotel.

Thanks for the update Gregory - I'll revise the Hotel info. I guess I just assumed since the Abercorn Inn is the VanDusen meet Hotel that that is where we would be staying as well ... sorry about that.
There is a handover in Vancouver - to the Okanagan sector (i.e. the Sector following yours).

Bob: a couple of things: the hotel for Victoria is the Harbour Towers; for Vancouver it is NOT the Abercorn Inn, but the Lonsdale Quay Hotel in North Vancouver. There really is no "handover" from Victoria to Vancouver, so you might want to delete that from the sector map.

Bob:
Regarding the Victoria / Vancouver segment: please remove the reference to Whistler (there is an "h" in it!) and substitute "Nanaimo". The highway to Whistler will be in uncertain condition because of major rebuilding in preparation for the Winter Olympic Games, and we will not be going there as a group. Intrepid individuals may wish to do so, and they are free to do so (freedom being the by-word of this segment). But we will be travelling from Victoria to Nanaimo on Friday, May 21 to take the ferry from Vancouver Island to Horseshoe Bay on the mainland, a beautiful way to enter one of Canada's most beautiful cities.
We have hotels arranged in Victoria and Vancouver and will be working on other details.
Gregory
