It's tough, the fingers get going and the muscle memory takes over. I
have a heck of a time typing "Mary." Then again I have a heck of a time
hitting the correct keys most of the time anyway. Thank goodness for
spell check.

Hi, Mark...sorry about the misspelling of your name...I have a
family member named Marc and the wires got crossed...it's still early on
the Left Coast.

Hi...I agree with Marc a Jaguar owner, unable to drive their
Jag, should be able to join the tour in whatever they have...at the back
of the conga line, of course!

Actually, I wouldn't even limit it to a British Car. If
the person owns a Jaguar and it suffers a breakdown at the last minute
or it just isn't ready in time, he could drive a Pontiac or a Kia, in my
opinion. I may be in the minority on this one, though.

Checking in late on this issue as I was away.
However, having reviewed all other email on this topic I was impressed
with the consensus argument of "Jaguar only".
			=20
BUT I think it is wise to allow a Jag owner to
be able to drive another British car if his Jag is non-running as
several members stated. ( So there may be some non-Jaguar cars, likely
British and keeping in flavour of the event.) =20
			=20
Also as long as we promote JAGUAR and get
endorsements from Jaguar Dealers etc. we will keep it a "Jaguar" event.
Should another British car show up on a sector for reasons we have
already stated I don't think it would upset anyone in my sector
including the Jaguar Dealer.=20
			=20
It will be a "Jaguar" event, lots of great
Jaguar cars, Jaguar enthusiasts, Jaguar parties, and Jaguar convoys...
with a few guests (poor cousins, but still in the family) from time-to
time.

I know a few of you had some pretty
strong feelings about this a few months ago, on both sides of the coin.
I'd like to revisit it and put it to bed after hearing everyone's input,
so we can make it an official JONAT policy. Note that this is on the
website but has no links to it (and will have none until a final
decision on the policy is made) - i.e. the only people with access are
those on this list.
