 As a J-L admin, I know the discussion was that this was appropriate on the=20
Pub, but since it wasn't model specific it wasn't appropriate on the lists.=20
Personally, I don't think anyone will complain if we limit ourselves to a si=
ngle=20
post to each list. Mike Eck did that for the Jag-Lovers Picnic in NJ in=20
June.=A0Just don't=A0cross post, i.e. use more than one list in the To: line=
. Cross=20
posting is a pain for admins because people will blindly reply to all and se=
nd=20
e-mails to lists to which they are not $ubscribed. The e-mails then bounce t=
o the=20
admins who have to handle them. We have to send each message individually.

 =A0

 Because we have one shot at it, we should make sure everything on the site=20
ready to go. If people check=A0us out and and can't register or pay or the=20
information isn't ready on the sector sites,=A0we won't have a chance to rem=
ind them=20
without incurring the ire of the admins. We only have three weeks before thi=
s=20
gets underway, so we have to have all the sector pages up and running ASAP.

 We should probably have everyone check their sector page to make sure=20
everything is right and get a show of virtual hands, of everyone who is read=
y to=20
roll. The best way to do something like this=A0send an e-mail with "<sector=20=
name>=20
is ready" as the subject line. That way Bob or whoever is counting can quick=
ly=20
tally. I'd be=A0willing to keep track if Bob gives us the go-ahead.

ine. Cross posting is a pain for admins because people will blindly reply to=

 then bounce to the admins who have to handle them. We have to send each mes=
