MessageIt may be important for the SC at each turn-over, whether each =
morning or evening, to ascertain whether a person has one of those =
handheld radios as well as a cell phone. Sometimes cells will not work =
too well in all areas.
That's probably not too much of an issue in a lot of Sectors, but it =
will definitely have some affect here in WA State due to the mountainous =
routing selected.

Good you brought this up. There was a discussion a while back =
that a breakfast will be held each morning for participants to provide =
them updates, contact lists, handouts, etc. I think some were going to =
do it at an evening get-together instead of breakfast, and others just =
at a staging location each morning.
Also, as another thought, maybe I could get each of you to go over =
the "Sector Coordinators Guide" under "Tour Info" as this might be due =
for an update at this stage. What I do need to add here is the Tour =
plate distribution and on-site registration information. Comments, =
questions, concerns appreciated.

Two things:
1. On the tour, we will have minimal "herding" responsibilities, =
as this is
a self-guided tour. But we SCs and ASCs will probably be wise to =
contact
all our drivers once a day at least by cellphone to make sure =
nothing
has gone wrong, that people are not lost, etc. Also, drivers will =
want to=20
contact us if something does go wrong. So I think we need a =
report=20
(maybe this one) with cell phone information for everyone. =20
2. I see Fazal Cader on the SF sector list (Great!), but he is =
listed as=20
riding with Greg Meboe -- however, Greg, you don't show up on the =
report.
What gives?
