Mike,
Ah, we do have someone from Vancouver.
Based on what I said in my last e-mail about already having run from Seattle
to Portland, would you be interest in the following option:
What I did last year, because it was too hot to bring the tour through
Phoenix, was set up a links to the tour which cut across the northern part
of Arizona -- higher elevation. At it's closest point the route was about 2
1/2 hours from Phoenix, and where we ended was about five hours away.
Basically our sector was a huge triangle. If you grab a map it was Phoenix,
to Cortez, CO, to Lake Havasy City, AZ, and back to Phoenix. I also worked
up a couple intermediate links, one of which took the 2 1/2 hour link. You
can follow the links in the route details, below. Note the tabs on the
bottom of the pages that show the links between Phoenix and points along the
sector.
Would you be interested in setting up something like that for Vancouver
where you pick up the route somewhere out say like Kamloops, Salmon Arm, or
Revelstoke and come south into Washington where you'd hand off to the Oregon
bunch? Is that about a three or four day tour?
Let me know and I'll pin you on the virtual map.

So are you guys coming to Vancouver??? ... if so I'll be happy to help
organize a leg for you in the B.C. region ...cheers Mike P. Our ABFM as was
on the route last year will be held in May 20/21 2005 ...so no good for 2006
but the same thing applies in 2006 ...might be too soon/too late for the
route that seems to be forming now ...but note the dates for the future
...cheers Mike P.
