[JONAT] Fw: J06

Fazal,

Check out my route for the AZ sector, including the connecting links. That's
an example of a connecting circle -- 1500 miles worth -- 9 days on the road
-- with a couple shorter options for people who couldn't take a week off.
There might be a few people who can go longer, but probably not many.

We spent two days getting to the hand-off and one day on the return from the
end point.

So I agree that a collection of circles would work, but unless they are
small enough that the average driver can complete them in a week, we really
aren't in any different situation than we are with one huge loop.

Actually, that sounds a lot like Bob's original 'collection of circles'
suggestion where each sector organised a circle route that brought each car
back to their original departure point. Eg, the outgoing leg (can a circle
have legs?) would be the J06 bit and those who want to can peel off at the
and start heading back either by retracing their original route or follow
the sector-planned tour through fresh country, back home.

The main point is that a goodly turnout at a planned Ford function. Maybe a
night/day/night stopover in Dearborn?

Fazal
