Can we stay overnight on the track/paddock  monday and tuesday in motorhome?

I have been "negotiating" with the Embassy Suites in Monterey, the  
Official Hotel of Mazda Raceway! They are willing to block 50 rooms  
for now for FoT and give us a dedicated cocktail reception area.  
Evening cocktails and breakfast buffet are standard features. They are  
offering us rooms at $155/night with no guarantee/no advance pay, and  
48 hour advance cancelation. Retail rate is $197. They will also give  
us dedicated parking lot space and have the only indoor pool in the  
area!

Question: Do you think this is acceptable to the majority or we need  
to try to find something that is lower cost? Of course, we can list  
alternate hotels in the area. And I'm going to work on camping options  
at the track, too.

PS. June is the start of the high season in Monterey so much lower  
rates may only be found in Salinas!
