I would definitely support the use of Venolia pistons.  When I first  saw 
the name I thought it must be some new body moisturiser but then I met some  
Jaguar racing engine builders here in the UK and they would only use  
Venolia.  I subsequently fitted them in my P type (blown) - never any  problems 
over 10,000 miles.
You are right, the bigend assemblies must be new technology because I've  
never heard of it (joke).
