[Mg-mmm] 3 brush Dynamo's ???

I'm still using the 3rd brush. While trying to adjust output yesterday, was 
 having some difficulty.  My dynamo looks nothing like the book.  It  has 
no numbers stamped on it that I can see.  The pinch bolt that locks the  3rd 
brush is hex headed (what size?) and what direction do I move the brush in  
to increase the output?  Right now its putting out about 1 amp max at all  
motor speeds.
