[Mg-mmm] a dancing daughter

I was at the Triple-M 50th anniversary event and Silverstone this past June
where the book had its debut. I highly recommend its purchase if you are
interested in MMM cars and a collector of the literature pertaining to them.
It is attractive, organized around each type, with sections on special bodied
MGs, as well as racers. Many photos are familiar but many are new to me.
Considering what Green's relatively recent, now out-of-print, books on the 4
and 6 cylinder pre-war MGs are worth (if you can find them), it may be a wise
investment, if nothing else. I am pleased I bought it, despite the fact that
there is not much new that hasn't been written about. It had an eagerly
awaited reception in June as part of the festivities.

I think it a good idea that Larry Long ask someone to review it for
newsletter.

Has anybody reviewed the new book "MG Sports Cars, 1929-1936 , OHC MMM " by
Malcolm Green? Available from MMM Library at 30 quid.
Is there really anything new under the sun on MMM books? Is this book worth
buying?
Thanks from Canada,
Bob Grunau

Their web site leaves a little to be desired. The only countries that can be
chosen for shipment are the UK, New Zealand, and Australia. Anyone know how to
order one from the US?

Thanks to my friend, Eric Baker (PB) who has always been fascinated with all
the daughters, I am presently reading Joan Richmonds biography....It is a
wonderful story of this Australian lady who drove a Riley from Melbourne to
Monte Carlo for the 1932 Rally. Of course she later drove one of the PBs at
Le Mans. Give your self a nice holiday gift of one of these books:

Joan Richmond | Her life story told for the first time
