[Mg-mmm] MG J2 Flywheel needed.

Hi Gary,
Have a local Ontario friend who has a 12/12 spec. M type and some M type
spares and he says he has an M flywheel, with good ringgear. I have not seen
it, probably rusty and will need sandblast cleaning. I understand the M
flywheel needs slight modification to J specs. Sorry, I don't know the
details.  He wants $200.00 + maining cost.
Any interest??

New topic, I am looking for an N or L or possibly K rear main cheese( ie 3rd
from front )  for an NA engine. This cheese has the center oil feed hole and
outside diameter of the cheese is 5.060". I need it as previous abortive
attempts to install center shell main bearings has buggered the cheese. I
have a replacement front cheese, with off-set oil hole, but need a
replacement rear cheese. All for a 1-3/4" crank, so an already buggered rear
cheese from a stock 1-5/8" main crank can be salvaged. Any help out there??

If I can't find a replacement rear cheese, will have to use thick tin
babbit, about 0.074" thick, to fill the hole and get back to 1.750" bore.
Any comments if this thick babbit will work OK??  Thanks.

Sometimes I wish I had never strayed from T Types, which I fully understand

We are in search of a replacement flywheel for a J2 engine. I understand a M
Type flywheel or J Type can be used. The one we have was recked by a local
machine shop. It is beyond repair. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We
have several people in the UK that will help get the part to the USA.
