Gents,
Your recent comments reminded me I also need to replace tires on my P type.

On the net, I priced 5 (spare is equally "knackered") 19"-4.50 3 block
tread Blockleys and received a price of $944 + transportation + tubes +
excise and sales taxes + balancing.

British thread also seemed to favor the 4.0 for full winged cars as 4.50s
scrubbed the underbody in tight cornering and provided a much lighter
steering.

Granted I did not do an exhaustive study, are we really talking over $1,000
for tires for normal street use?
