Oliver, your "doohickey" is broken....go to mossmotors.com, search for part
no. 360-040, then click on it....you see a picture of it but not the
details...you need this part.  It has all the pieces you need.  I do agree
that you need a parts washer!!

that third picture - that little piece - it's broken, isn't it?

and there's a little doohickey that holds the gear reduction piece in, right?
