[Mg-t] MG TF Battery size

Thanks, Walt. The size 34R fits fine, but since I'll also going to switch
polarity (for GPS use, primarily), I'd probably use the standard terminal
group 34 - if I can find it.

I hadn't thought about using a deep cycle battery for this application -
probably not a bad idea since the TF sits unused for extended periods. Anyone
else have thoughts on the use of deep cycle batteries in these older cars?

Thanks

Howard

Hello Howard,
If you are happy with the 34R; use a BCI group 34. The 34 is the same size,
however the post are reversed on the 34R. The modern battery of today is more
universal with the terminal post generally are offset of center, and no longer
dedicated to the extreme edge.
Any deep cycle battery would be a good choice. Look for a battery with a high
ampere hour rating and long reserve capacity, as the cold cranking amps (CCA)
is of very little consequence in our cars.
