[Mg-t] brake fluid level question

Interestingly the Morris Minor, which uses a very similiar master cylinder, 
has factory service instructions to fill the master cylinder to the bottom 
of the threads for the cap.

With a remote separate overflow bottle wouldn't the fluid leak out 
continously from the cap breather and/or a slightly imperfect cap sealing 
washer?
