[Mgb-v8] funky fuel gauge

It would help if you said what the symptoms were!  I.e. occasionally 
dropping to nothing?  Occasionally going to F?  Emitting smoke? Anything 
else?  Whatever, the odds are that it is associated with the tank, but could 
be the wiring, stabiliser (coincidentally) or other things.
