Different people have different ways and ideas, thank god!
It is really tempting to answer your wisecracks, but I won't!
<grin>
Time will tell. With luck, no moderation will ever be needed by anyone.

I write this email to introduce a new mail list, MIGCruisers. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join. http://www.team.net/mailman/listinfo/migcruisers
This new list is intended to be oriented toward New Members, Tech Questions and Ride info. So we will have three, MIGCruisers as an intro, MIG as the more gritty and MIG 2 as "anything goes". I propose Doodles list the three on the WEB site in that way.
MIGCruisers will be a relatively clean, Bike related site. Banter will be light and well try to keep the tone and the language light. It is there to provide the needs of the new bike rider and the new Suzuki Cruiser Owner, as well as the more conservative folks.
MIG is the more Biker type site, gritty, rough and definately non-moderated. Enter at your own risk, not for the kiddies.
MIG2 as stuff too controversial, even for MIG. Skin, language, politics, religion, anything goes.
I will be on all three groups. My recent thread on the subject of MIG was a feeling-out of where people want to go. Unfortunately, some misunderstood. I was not planning to moderate MIG, I was asking for ideas and opinions. The end result was to give this a try.
As far as organization, I feel the new list will moderate itself. I will look at it as Doodles looks at Forum. Comments should be enough. But if push comes to shove, well...
Someone asked me recently why I was so into MIG and invested so much into it. My answer was simple, and I think I speak for every MIG who has ever been involved in any work here when I say 'MIG is a place for folks to escape, like a ride away from the hassles and boredom of life. Everyone looks at it differently, and it means different things to different people. I feel privledged to be involved.'
