With all the rain we had this past week, I'm not sure that sand will be a big problem! ;-)
 
My biggest worry will be the release agent on the new tires.  I picked them up from the shop on Tuesday, but haven't had the chance to get the on.  Tonight, tires and new front brake pads go on the bike.  Tomorrow, I ride!!!!
