[Mig] Tires

George, I'm getting close on my tires too. I was originally going to just
do the Metzelers because I got a little over 21,000 miles from the first set
I put on the Rauder. But when I saw Eric's post that he got 32,000 on his
Dunlop Elite 491's I might go with those. Depends on availability when it
comes time to change my tires. I'm hoping to have new tires on before
Asheville, that will all depend on how much riding I end up doing the next
two months. I have been doing around 1200 miles a month.
Let me know what you end up doing. I know our rear tire is an odd ball
size. You can go with an 180/70-16 for the rear instead of the 170/70-16
that's on there now. The 180/70-16 is the stock size of the VTX1800.

Well, I've just about worn out the stock tires on the Vulcan. Who's
using the Avon tires? Or is that tyres? Any thoughts on mileage and
handling. Any comparisons to the Metzlers? Thanks.
