I'm fighting the Harley demons - my first choice is a Twin-Cam Electra-Glide Standard, 2nd choice is a Road King, 3rd is a Nomad.

almost a little queasy - then when I actually got riding and I got to
experience one (or all) of it's little idiosyncrasies, i.e. stalling when I
hit the throttle, bucking and snorting when not either accelerating or
decelerating, backfiring and popping, it made me realize just how
dissatisfied I was with that "legendary Honda quality". I advertised it for
sale for over two months and the only legitimate call I got was from a guy
in San Diego - he ended up coming up with a truck and a trailer and picking
the bike up. He is thoroughly enjoying it - he's been riding since he was
17 years old, and this bike is just what he wanted. He is very experienced,
so he is OK with all of the little issues on the bike, so he's happy and I
am rid of an irritation and a constant reminder of a very big mistake.

at ebay, but most of the bikes are in the midwest or east, and the shipping
and problems with actually 'seeing' a bike are kind of daunting. I'm also
debating new vs. used ... who knows. I'll let you all know when I get
something going.

were BUGS! $1,000/day sounds good, but I wonder if they get full pay for the
decompression time?

out here in California has been nothing short of fantastic, but being
