Curtis, just be aware of the service intervals and cost....the entire engine on a v-rod has to be dropped from the frame to do a valve adjustment....I believe they are bucket and shim, so if it is a good set up and done properly that should be required once every 25K miles or so. I was told a lot of v-rod owners sell them before the first major service comes due....maybe a deal to be had on a used one. FWIW.... Regards, Hubert
