Anyone got a better way of refitting the pinchbolt that goes into the
bottom of the steering column?

I am about to open the gap in the clamping surfaces on the end of the
column up with a screwdriver to enable me to move the column up and down
easily relative to the rack

I have already centred the rack using a drill to drop into the hole on the
LHS (it is a RHD vehicle)

Lost the will to live after 45 minutes of frustration.... back on to it
tomorrow (not done the stretching trick yet)

Regards
