[Mini] 48IDF carbs vs. 48IDA?

[Dr John C Bullas]

I like the idea of having the problem of the carb air filter sticking out
of the bonnet.....

Has anyone fitted a 48IDF dellorto or "lookie-likee" instead of a 48IDA
weber proper?

Do they use similar jets to the IDA with respect to setting it up on day 1?

I know this is probably way way over carbed for a 100bhp engine BUT you
know me and my ideas!
