Hello Ron;
     Although my British car restorations have slowed to stop, I am still
very interested in the Club and looking forward to getting much more active. I
have an early Lucas Electrical parts catalogue which enables me to find needed
parts. Some time ago I needed a windscreen wiper bracket for my '53 Sunbeam
Alpine and found that the MK V Jaguar used the same unit. This is true of
many lamps, etc.
While I have been a fan and user of Castrol oils, I have an article stating
that their products are now API and do not contain the lubricants for
protecting flat tappets used on early cars.
     As I subscribe to an International news letter for Sunbeam Classics, I
find it to be worthwhile reading. I have noted with some interest that the
club is celebrating an anniversary on August 4th and I hope to attend. It is
possible that I could host such an event at my Sebastopol home with a pot luck
event.
     Lets chat, over coffee, a pint of ale or a telephone conversation.

Cheers:

Charles Medcalf
