[Nobbc] Jag XK radiator level

Hi All:

I had been told to fill the radiator to the bottom (curve) of the neck
which only leaves about a couple of cubic inches to allow for expansion;
hence the overflowing. What is the proper water level? The radiator
configuration does not allow one to see the water level easily below the
neck; but I could use a dip stick if is supposed to be lower. I have
been scared to run the car with the water level too low.

Anyone?

Thanks,

Charlie Saul

Hi Tony, If you get a recommendation for your TR6 , please let me know.
I am in the same fix. Have a 72 and no one up here I would recommend.
Have several no -nos.
 As a 40+ year member of Triumph Travelers on the Peninsula, all my
contacts and buddies are too far away.

Thanks, Emile Houle
