[Nobbc] Tahoe Tr 6 show October 3-5

To all who are interested in a Santa Rosa area British mechanic, I have talked
with a Windsor mechanic with British Car experience. His name is Ron Larson
who typically works on Volvos. He is moving to a larger shop on Airport Blvd
(Santa Rosa). I explained that "several" of us would be interested in
someone, qualified of course, to maintain our cars. He sees this as an
opporunity to increase or diversify his clientele. I also spoke with Mike
Tillman (Tillman German Auto), who works my car, this morning to see if he had
someone qualified in British cars. Does not but receives many requests. I
plan to take my TR6 to Larson next week and see how he does and will let all
interested know how it turns out.
The Tahoe Triumph show sounds very
interesting, is there interest out there to participate?

Here's the story.
The 6 West Coast Triumph Clubs have
presented a 3 day Triumphest each year since 1986. It is open to all Triumph
Owners.
This year is Triumph Travelers turn since in addition they are
celebratiing their 50th anniversary, having been founded in Palo Alto in 1958,
and are the longest continuous TR club in the US and perhaps the Universe.,
All details can be found on their web site at www.triumphtravelers.org as well
as registration forms, event calendar etc.
As a 41 year member, I urge you to
check it out. In 2004 , we drew 210 Triumph cars to Tahoe!
