Yep, Twins! 
They will be here within 7 weeks. I've got a lot to do before they're born. My wife is home from work now and the honey-do list is growing exponentially. The MGin my garage belongs to my father-in-law. I drive it occasionally, but tomorrow we have family visiting from So Cal. It seems like every time there's a ride, I'm either out of town or have other obligations.

Congratulations Dawson for giving in to your impulsive madness. I'm sure 
your mechanic will appreciate the ease of access under the bonnet. 

I'd love to go on this ride, but my Spitfire is still non-op. I wanted to 
get it back on the road by the end of this month, but other obligations have 
kept me from working on it. I will try to get back to it soon. The engine is 
ready to go back together, all of the machine work is done. I have the new 
suspension parts ready to go on as well. Most of the rewiring kit is 
installed. I upgraded the front hubs and breaks to GT-6 units, too. When I 
can get back to it I'll install the OD tranny as well. I bought a set of 
wheel adapters and my wife is buying me a set of wheels and tires for my 
birthday ;^) There's still a lot of work to do, but I'm confident that I can 
have it done in month, provided the new additions to my family aren't early. 

I hope to see you all soon on a ride.

PS John, in a fit of impulsive madness, which I am sure I will regret for 
years to come, I bought a Triumph Spitfire. I need to get it smogged, and 
the 
EGR valve is non-op. Do you have a spare I can borrow for a week or two? 
It's 
a 1979 model with a 1500 cc engine. The car runs OK and the body is 
straight, 
though it needs TLC.
